MKT 398 Healthcare Marketing
Students interested in product marketing roles with leading healthcare organizations should know that bringing healthcare products to market is very different from other kinds of business or consumer products. This marketing course will provide the necessary “big picture” perspective of the entire healthcare product development and go-to-market process from facilitating early state ideation, navigating regulatory requirements, integrating testing and clinical studies, using data/insights to inform marketing strategy, and managing final product commercialization. Students will better understand the many benefits and the risks associated with developing a new product offering in the healthcare market as well as learn how leading marketers innovate to bring transformational products to the providers and patients within the healthcare marketplace. Each course will have a specific marketing “class partner” case project experience to support the course learning objectives and real-world application.
