University Sales Education Landscape Survey - Objectives and Report

For over a decade, the Center for Sales Leadership conducts a comprehensive research survey of universities and colleges in the United States focusing on education programs in sales and sales management.

This survey provides invaluable visibility for universities and colleges to increase the awareness and focus of this curriculum in the academic environment - and raise awareness levels in the business community of individual programs - helping universities and colleges collaborate with the business community to increase student career opportunities.

This research has three key objectives:

The first objective of the research is to identify core information for each university and college sales program:

  • Universities and colleges who teach sales and sales management
  • Accreditation, enrollment levels, and resources
  • Degrees, curriculum, courses, and content
  • University, corporate, and other affiliations

The secondary objective of the research is to identify and compare current trends among respective programs to encourage best practices within all universities and college programs.

The tertiary objective of the research is to identify future directions among respective programs to encourage innovation among the universities and colleges.
