Danny Loomans is a Senior studying Marketing and Management from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He currently leads the Center for Sales Leadership’s Brand Amplifier Team, and oversees the program’s on-the-ground marketing and selling efforts, a role he has held since August 2017. Danny became a Sales Ambassador in February 2016 and led the team’s administrative, operational, and strategic functions between May 2016 and June 2017. In his final year at DePaul University, Danny studies marketing and management, with concentrations in sales leadership and change management.
In addition to serving on the Ambassador Team, Danny interns as a Solution Engineer at Salesforce, one of the world’s most admired companies and the market leader in CRM software. Until May 2017, Danny interned at World Business Chicago, Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s economic development bureau, in Strategic Initiatives and later as a project developer for Chicago’s Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs.
Previously, Danny has interned at the Chicago Loop Alliance in its marketing, events, and membership functions, and at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL as a Cast Member at Magic Kingdom and on special projects through the company’s big idea faction, Creative Inc. Up until June 2016, Danny led Food for Freedom, a food insecurity events, awareness, and entirely student-run charitable organization.
Outside of work, Danny enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, writing, running (an avid marathon runner), biking, and checking off, one by one, the 750+ items on his living list. An avid film fan, Danny has seen over 40% of the pictures on AFI’s 100 Greatest Films of All Time list and over 50% of films that have won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
One day, Danny hopes to lead the “world’s most purpose-driven company,” an organization he hopes will be recognized for its commitment to pushing boundaries, changing the world, and the people who help make it happen.
